Please note - the WCQS Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday April 17th at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
The Western North Carolina Public Radio (WNCPR) Board of Directors is legally responsible for the governance of WNCPR as a nonprofit corporation. It also holds the FCC broadcast licenses for the radio stations operating as WCQS. The operation and organization of the Board is outlined in the WNCPR bylaws.
The Board members are selected for their commitment to the mission and goals of WNCPR, and for their expertise in various fields. The individual Directors serve as volunteers, and they meet in formal session four times a year.
The meetings for 2013 are at 12:30 pm as follows:
- January 16 - Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity
- April 17 - Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce - postponed
- July 24 - Location TBD
- September 25 - Location TBD
- November 20 - Location TBD
