Duncan McFadyen Signs Off
Morning Edition host/reporter Duncan McFadyen's last day at WCQS was Friday, June 29th. He's leaving to take a similar position at public radio station WFAE in Charlotte, NC.

"As many of you know, today my time at WCQS comes to an all-too-soon end. I’m leaving to take a post at WFAE, the NPR news station in Charlotte. In the year and a half I’ve been lucky enough to live in Western North Carolina, I’ve enjoyed getting to know many of you. THANK YOU for listening and for supporting this wonderful station! A special thanks to those of you who’ve sent well wishes in the last few weeks. It’s been a privilege to bring you the news every morning. Western North Carolina is a special place, and I’ll always be grateful for my time here."
