WOOLLY ADELGID THREATENS WNC HEMLOCKS

In the mountains of the eastern seaboard from Georgia to Maine, a tiny insect is killing Eastern and Carolina hemlock trees. In many areas, it threatens to eliminate them completely. Among them is Western North Carolina. Duncan McFadyen reports.
