Making a Difference
Beginning Aug. 13th WCQS will air the first in a series of occasional interviews with people in Western North Carolina who are passionate about their work and about making a difference in their community. First up - David Hurand interviews the Executive Director of the Asheville Art Museum, Pam Myers.
The three part interview will air Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 and 8:30 during Morning Edition and again at 5:44 during All Things Considered.
In the weeks ahead listen for interviews with the Executive Director of Riverlink, Karen Cragnolin, and historian Darin Waters. The Asheville native recently earned his Ph.d from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Dr. Waters spoke with David about the arrival of African Americans in Western North Carolina.
