Artist Reception at WCQS - March 9th!
Featured artist Tom Padzerka will be holding a sale of his work on March 9th at the WCQS studios from 5pm – 7pm.
All work will be up to 40% reduced, with new work available this time only. Some of this work has never been exhibited anywhere. By supporting this effort, you will also be supporting the station because a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to its operations.
All offers included during this sale are as follows:
- Up to 40% off available artwork
- Free personal delivery and professional installation (within a reasonable distance)
- Free framed original print with each artwork purchased
The sale will also support Padzerka's upcoming trip to the Czech Republic.
"On my trip I will be meeting with Czech artists with the intention to establish communication and a form of exchange between the artist community here in Western North Carolina and there, bringing artists and exhibitions to our art spaces and museums and exporting our own talent to Prague. Eastern Europe is on the brink of becoming a very important force in the art world, whose artists are quickly becoming established in their own countries as well as in the United States in places like New York and Los Angeles. It could be vitally important to establish these links to bring a much needed boost to our arts community."
