Listen Friday at 2 for two oboists performing live in our studio.
Oboists Kathryn Potter (from Asheville) and Marika Lombardi (from Paris) play for us live Friday at 2. Kathryn is a composer as well as an oboist, and we'll hear a selection of her compositions for the instrument, some of which have recently been published in France. Marika has just released a new recording of works for solo oboe covering 300 years from Marin Marais to Robert Sibbing, so we'll sample her work as well.
